About
Hi, I’m Aga
I’m a counsellor and the founder of I AM I Counselling.
I work with people who feel disconnected from themselves and struggle with self-worth, so they can start to like themselves, trust themselves and build healthier relationships.

My own experience
I know what it’s like to lose touch with yourself
There was a time in my own life when I didn’t feel like myself. I found counselling really helpful in understanding what was going on for me and, over time, finding my way back to myself.
That experience is one of the reasons I became a counsellor.
I know how important it can be to have someone you can talk to openly, without feeling judged or being told what you should do.
The name
Why I AM I?
For me, I AM I is about being able to say:
This is me. This is who I am. And I’m okay with that.
It’s about having a better relationship with yourself — being able to trust yourself, feel more comfortable with who you are and not always worry about what other people think or expect from you.
When you’ve lost touch with yourself, you might find yourself constantly doubting your decisions, putting other people first, or feeling like you’re never quite good enough.
You might know that something doesn’t feel right, but not really know what needs to change.
This is where counselling can help.
My approach
How I work
- You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come to counselling.
- You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong.
- And you don’t need to have the right words.
I work in a warm, honest and down-to-earth way. I won’t tell you what you should do or give you a list of things to fix. We’ll take time to understand what’s going on for you and what you need, at your own pace.
My approach is person-centred, which means the counselling is about you — your experiences, your feelings and what matters to you.

I continue to learn and develop my skills because I believe there is always more to understand.

A little more about me
I’m originally from Poland and have lived in London for many years.
When I’m not counselling, I enjoy cycling, travelling and gardening. I like being outdoors, exploring new places and having time to slow down.
I think it’s important that you get to know the person behind the website too. I’m not just a counsellor — I’m a person with my own experiences, interests and life outside of therapy.
So when we meet, you don’t need to be anything other than yourself.
You can just be you.
Still wondering
Not sure if I’m the right counsellor for you?
That’s completely okay.
